A classic 1920s vintage rectangular 18ct gold Rolex wristwatch!

A 1928, 18ct gold rectangular vintage Rolex watch. The case measures  24 x 30mm (excluding lugs), with 18mm lugs and is numbered, with reference 869, and personal engraving ‘G.H.P. 8th Dec 1909-1934’ to the back. The case is signed Rolex, 7 World’s Records, RWCLtd. (Rolex Watch Company Limited), Geneva – Suisse and hallmarked Glasgow 1928. The manual wind, Extra Prima movement is signed Rolex, Swiss Made, with 15 jewels, Timed to 6 positions, For All Climates. The silvered dial has black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and fine blued steel ‘cubistes’ hands. The dial is signed Rolex above the centre.
