An early round silver vintage Rolex ‘Officers’ watch. The case measures 33.5 mm in diameter and has hinged lugs. The case is signed RWCLtd. (Rolex Watch Company Limited), Rolex, 7 World’s Records, Geneva Suisse, hallmarked Glasgow 1923 and numbered 50015. The movement is signed Rolex with 15 Rubies. The silvered ‘guilloche’ (engine-turned) sunburst dial has luminous Arabic numerals with a subsidiary seconds dial. The dial is signed Rolex above the centre.
