1914 silver vintage Rolex ‘Officers’ watch

An early silver vintage Rolex ‘Officer’s’ watch. The case measures 34 mm in diameter, with a screw down bezel and case back, engraved ‘R.W.R. 8.7.25’. The case, with hinged lugs, is signed Rolex, W&D (Wilsdorf & Davis, founders of Rolex), hallmarked 1914 and numbered. The Swiss Made movement is signed Rolex with 15 jewels. The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with a red twelve, subsidiary seconds dial and fine blued steel hands. The dial is signed Rolex above the centre.
