A simply stunning rare, large silver ‘rectangular wristwatch from Omega, with fabulous ‘Exploding’ numerals!
A 1929, large, silver rectangular vintage Omega watch. The curved case measures 26 x 36mm (excluding lugs) with 20mm lug size. The case is signed Omega, Swiss Made, marked sterling silver and numbered. The calibre 23.7 T2, manual wind movement is signed Omega Watch Co. Swiss, with 15 jewels, Adjusted to 2 Positions and numbered. The champagne dial has black fancy Arabic ‘exploding’ numerals, with a subsidiary seconds dial and fine blued steel ‘Breguet’ hands. The dial is signed Omega above the centre.
