A rare early silver tonneau vintage Rolex watch. The case measures 32 x 32.5 mm. The case is signed RWCLtd. (Rolex Watch Company Limited), Rolex, 16 World’s Records, Gold Medal, Geneva-Suisse, hallmarked Glasgow 1926 and numbered 55296. The Extra Prima quality movement is signed Rolex with 18 Rubies, Timed to 6 positions, For All Climates. The white enamel dial with sunken centre, has luminous Arabic numerals with a subsidiary seconds dial. The dial is signed Rolex above the centre with Observatory below.
