A wonderful 1930s rectangular vintage Rolex watch, with silvered ‘bow-tie’ dial!

A 1938, 9ct gold rectangular vintage Rolex watch. The stepped case measures 20 x 36mm (including lugs), with 14mm lugs. The case is signed Rolex, 31 Records Universels, Geneva Suisse,  RWCLtd (Rolex Watch Company Limited), hallmarked Glasgow 1938 and numbered, with reference 1936 to the back. The manual wind, calibre 360 HW movement is signed Rolex, Swiss Made with 15 Rubies. The two tone silvered ‘bow-tie’ dial has black Arabic numerals, with a subsidiary seconds dial and fine blued steel hands. The dial is signed Rolex above the centre.
