A stunning 1920s rectangular silver vintage Rolex watch, with silvered guilloche detail to the dial!

A 1926, silver rectangular vintage Rolex watch. The case measures 25 x 38mm (including lugs), with 20mm lugs, and personal engraving ‘Alec Herd from Monica 1930’ to the back. The case is signed Rolex 10 World’s Records, Gold Medal, Geneva-Suisse, RWC.Ltd (Rolex Watch Company Limited) and hallmarked Glasgow 1926 and numbered, with reference 34 to the back. The manual wind movement is signed Rolex, Swiss Made with 15 Rubies. The silvered dial, with guilloche detail to the centre, has black Arabic numerals, with a subsidiary seconds dial and fine blued steel ‘batons etroits’ hands. The dial is signed Rolex above the centre.
