A 1920s rare large rectangular vintage Rolex watch, reference 829, with fabulous exploding numerals!

A 1928, 9ct gold large rectangular vintage Rolex watch. The case measures 25 x 42 mm (including lugs) with 20mm lug size. The case is signed Rolex, RWCLtd. (Rolex Watch Company Limited) hallmarked Glasgow 1928 and numbered to the back, with reference 829.  The manual wind Extra Prima movement is signed Rolex, Swiss Made, Timed to 6 Positions, For All Climates with 15 jewels and numbered. The champagne dial has black exploding Arabic numerals, with subsidiary seconds dial and fine blued steel ‘cathedrales’ hands. The dial is signed Rolex above the centre.
