A rare, silver rectangular vintage Rolex. A truly stunning 1920s dress watch!

A 1927, silver rectangular vintage Rolex watch. The case measures 26 x 31.5mm (excluding lugs), with 18mm lug size and personal engraving ‘JJJ’ to the back. The case is signed RWC Ltd. (Rolex Watch Company) Rolex, 16 World’s Records, hallmarked Glasgow 1927 and numbered, with reference 6 to the back. The manual wind, movement is signed Rolex, with 15 Rubies. The silvered, ‘guilloche’ (engine turned) dial has black Arabic numerals, with a subsidiary seconds dial and fine blued steel ‘breguet’ hands. The dial is signed Rolex above the centre.
