A 1929, 9ct gold cushion vintage Rolex watch. The case measures 29 x 29 mm with 18mm lug size. The case is signed W&D (Wilsdorf and Davis), hallmarked London 1929 and numbered, with personal engraving ‘Stuart Henry 1931-‘ to the back. The manual wind movement is signed Rolex, Swiss Made, Timed 6 Positions, For All Climates, with 15 jewels. The champagne ‘guilloche’ (engine-turned) dial, has black Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial and fine blued steel ‘Breguet’ hands. The dial is signed Rolex above the centre.
