1930s, stainless steel rectangular vintage Omega watch. The case measures 21 x 37mm (including lugs) with 14mm lug size. The case is signed Omega, Swiss Made, Acier Staybrite and numbered. The manual wind, T-17 movement is signed Omega, Swiss Made, numbered, with 15 jewels. The champagne dial has raised gold Arabic numerals, with  subsidiary seconds and fine blued steel ‘Breguet’ hands. The dial is signed Omega above the centre.

Omega Calibre T-17 movement 

In the early 1930s, Omega introduced their excellent tonneau shaped calibre T-17 as an ideal movement for use within rectangular and other ‘shaped’ cases. The T-17 quickly gained a reputation for reliability and quality and today is one of the watchmaker’s most highly regarded vintage movements. This calibre was specially housed in a protective soft metal, anti-magnetic, movement cover.
