A 1934, 14ct gold rectangular vintage Omega watch. The case measures 22 x 39 mm (including lugs) with 17mm lugs. The case is signed Omega, Swiss Made, numbered and marked 14ct gold. The manual wind 20F calibre movement is signed Omega, Swiss with 15 jewels and numbered. The dial has black Arabic numerals with a subsidiary seconds dial, an outside minute track and fine blued steel ‘modernes’ hands. The dial is signed Omega above the centre.
Omega Calibre 20F movement
The calibre 20F manual wind movement was developed by Omega in the late 1920s. In an early 1930s catalogue, Omega described the calibre 20 as having “wonderful timekeeping qualities, sturdiness, elegance, style”.
