A wonderful example of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch from the early 1960s, in original condition!

A 1963, stainless steel vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch, reference 6284. The case measures 34 mm in diameter and 40 mm lug to lug, with a Rolex winding crown and 19mm lug size. The case is signed Rolex SA, Geneva, Swiss, ref: 6284 and dated 1963. The centre-sweep second, automatic movement is signed Rolex Perpetual Swiss Made Patented. The rare ‘honeycomb’ or ‘waffle’ dial has raised gilt ‘arrow-head’ hour indicators, lumed at the quarters and a Rolex Coronet at the twelve. The dial has some original patina. The dial is signed Rolex Oyster Perpetual above the centre, with Officially Certified Chronometer below.
