1950s 9ct gold round vintage Rolex Precision watch

A 9ct gold round vintage Rolex Precision watch. The case measures 31mm in diameter with ‘tear-drop’ lugs. The case is signed Dennison Made in England for Rolex, hallmarked Birmingham 1955 and numbered 700036. The movement, with centre sweep seconds, is signed Rolex, Swiss Made and numbered 36292. The rare ‘honey-comb’ dial has raised gold Arabic numerals at the quarters with raised gold hour indicators between. The dial is signed Rolex above the centre, with the coronet at twelve o’clock.
