A 1930s, 14ct gold large rectangular vintage Rolex watch. The curved case measures  26 x 36mm (excluding lugs), with 22mm lugs and is numbered, with reference 871. The case is signed Rolex, 20 World’s Records, Geneva – Suisse and marked 14K. The manual wind, Prima movement is signed Rolex, Swiss Made, with 15 jewels, Timed to 6 positions, For All Climates. The Art Deco dial has black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and fine blued steel ‘batons etroits’ hands. The dial is signed Rolex above the centre.
