A 1924, 18ct gold vintage Rolex watch. The case measures 32mm in diameter, with 14mm lugs. The case is signed Rolex 7 World’s Records, Gold Medal, Geneva-Suisse, RWC.Ltd (Rolex Watch Company Limited), hallmarked Glasgow 1924 and numbered. The manual wind movement is signed Rolex, Swiss Made with 15 Jewels. The ‘guilloche’, (engine-turned and silvered) sunburst dial, has black Arabic numerals, a red twelve, with a subsidiary seconds dial and fine blued steel ‘Breguet’ hands. The dial is signed Rolex above the centre.
