1930 18ct gold rectangular vintage Jump-Hour watch

A very rare 18ct gold rectangular vintage ‘Jump-Hour’ watch. The case measure 32 x 23 mm (excluding lugs) and is hallmarked Edinburgh 1930. The faceted case has a satin finish to the front and back with polished sides. The Swiss movement has 15 jewels. The front of the case has three apertures, for the hour, minute and seconds to be shown.

This style of watch is also known as an early digital watch.
