1918 silver vintage Zenith ‘Land & Water’ watch

A rare early silver vintage Zenith ‘Land & Water’ watch, retailed by Birch & Gaydon Ltd. The case measures 36 m in diameter. The ‘Borgel’ case is signed Z.W.Co. (Zenith Watch Company), and is hallmarked 1918. The jewelled movement is signed Zenith and numbered 1642936. The black enamelled dial has white Arabic numerals with a subsidiary seconds dial. The dial is signed Birch & Gaydon Ltd., Fenchurch Street, London above the centre, with Land & Water above the seconds.
