A stunning vintage ‘Art Deco’ Omega watch, truly evocative of the period!

A 1933, stainless steel rectangular vintage Omega watch. The case measures 22 x 32 mm (excluding lugs), with 18mm lugs. The case is signed Omega, Acier Staybrite, Fab. Suisse and numbered. The 20F calibre, manual wind movement is signed Omega, Swiss Made, with 15 jewels and numbered. The silvered dial has black baton hour markers with lumed markers to the quarters, with an inside minute track,  subsidiary seconds dial and fine blued steel ‘modernes‘ hands. The dial is signed Omega above the centre.

Omega Calibre 20F movement

The calibre 20F manual wind movement was developed by Omega in the late 1920s. In an early 1930s catalogue, Omega described the calibre 20 as having “wonderful timekeeping qualities, sturdiness, elegance, style”.
