1930s 14ct gold rectangular vintage Longines watch

A 14 ct gold rectangular ‘Art Deco’ vintage Longines watch. The case measures 19.5 x 43 mm (including lugs). The case is signed Based and Timed in USA by Longines, 14 kt. and numbered 665047. The movement is signed Longines Watch Co. Swiss, with 17 jewels and numbered 6921954. The dial has gold raised Arabic numerals alternated with gold raised dots and a subsidiary seconds dial. The dial is signed Longines above the centre.

This is a fabulous example of Art Deco design, the curved case with integral lugs, a truly stunning watch!
