A superb classic 1920s vintage Longines wristwatch!

A 1924, 18ct gold round vintage Longines watch. The case measures 34mm in diameter, with hinged 14mm lugs and personal engraving to the back ‘GMM, 20.12.24’. The case is signed AB, (Arthur Baume, director of Longines UK), hallmarked London 1924 and numbered. The manual wind, calibre 13.34 movement is signed Longines, Swiss Made, with 16 jewels and numbered. The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals, a red twelve, subsidiary seconds, with fine blued steel ‘feuille’ hands. The dial is signed Longines above the centre.
