A wonderful rare, early example of a Longines watch from 1918!

A 1918, 18ct gold rectangular vintage Longines wristwatch. The case measures 22 x 32 mm (excluding lugs). The case is signed Longines, stamped 18k gold and numbered to the back. The calibre 9.35, manual wind movement is signed Longines with 15 jewels and numbered. The dial, with decorative engine-turning to the centre, has fancy black Arabic numerals with fine blued steel ‘Breguet’ hands. The dial is signed Longines above the centre.
