A 1936, large silver rectangular vintage Asprey watch. The case measures 25.5 x 44mm (including lugs), with 20mm lug size. The case is signed GS (sponsors mark), hallmarked Glasgow 1936 and numbered. The manual wind movement is Swiss Made, with 15 jewels. The champagne dial has fancy black ‘exploding’ Arabic numerals, with subsidiary seconds and fine blued steel ‘fuseaux’ hands. The dial is signed Asprey above the centre.
