A rare, large silver rectangular 1930s wristwatch with a stunning sunburst dial, retailed by Thomas Russell & Son!

A 1930s, large silver rectangular vintage Longines watch. The case measures 28 x 40 mm (including lugs) with 24mm lugs. The silver case is marked 925 silver and numbered, dating the watch to 1930s. The Swiss Made manual wind, movement has 15 jewels and numbered. The silvered ‘guilloche’ (engine-turned) sunburst dial has black Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial, with fine blued steel ‘Breguet’ hands. The dial is signed Thomas Russell & Son above the centre.
