1930s steel vintage Omega ‘Marine Standard’ watch

A rare steel vintage Omega ‘Marine’ watch. The case measures 23 x 38 mm. The waterproof case, designed by Francis Baumgartner (designer of many waterproof cases, including the Rolex Oyster) is signed Omega, Fab. Suisse, Acier Staybrite and numbered to the back, which snaps on and is secured by two hooks. The movement is signed Omega, with 15 jewels and numbered. The dial has black Arabic numerals with a subsidiary seconds dial and blued steel hands. The dial is signed Omega above the centre.

This is a highly collectable Art Deco watch in very good condition!
