A 1930s, unusual octagonal stainless steel vintage Omega watch. The faceted tropical case measures 29 x 36 mm (including lugs) with a ‘nut’ back and front bezel. The case is signed F.B. (Francois Borgel, case maker), Staybrite Rustless Steel and numbered. The manual wind movement is signed Omega, with 15 jewels and numbered. The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial with fine blued steel hands. The dial is signed Omega above the centre.
