An 18 ct gold tonneau vintage Longines watch. The case measures 22 x 40 mm (including lugs). The case is signed A.B. (Arthur Baume, director of Longines U.K.), and hallmarked London 1934. The case is engraved to the back with, ‘Valuation Committee, Presented to Mr H R Batten, Chairman 1937, by his Colleagues, May 15th 1938.’ The movement is signed Longines, with 15 jewels and numbered 5178615. The dial has black Arabic numerals with a subsidiary seconds dial. The dial is signed Longines above the centre.
