1915 round silver vintage Longines ‘Officers’ watch
An early silver vintage Longines ‘Officers’ watch, 1915. The case measures 31 mm in diameter, excluding the hinged lugs. The case, with hinged protective dust cover to movement featuring ‘6 Grands Prix’, is signed EFCo., Longines and numbered. The manual wind 12.92 calibre movement, with ‘pin-set’ hands, is signed Longines, with 15 jewels and numbered. The white enamel dial has black open Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial and fine blued steel ‘squelettes’ hands. The dial is signed Longines above the centre.
