A truly stunning 1930s Longines watch, in fabulous condition!

A 1934, 18ct gold rectangular vintage Longines wristwatch. The case measures 24 x 40 mm (including lugs) with 19mm lug size. The case is signed AB (Arthur Baume, director of Longines UK), hallmarked London 1934 and numbered, with personal engraving to the back ‘W.Lee, in recognition of 30 years service from the Dawson Family 1937’. The fine quality, calibre 9.47N, manual wind movement is signed Longines, Swiss Made with 17 jewels and numbered. The champagne dial has black Arabic numerals to the quarters, a subsidiary seconds dial, with fine blued steel hands. The dial is signed Longines above the centre.
