A 1948, stainless steel vintage Rolex Oyster wristwatch. The case measures 34 mm in diameter, with Rolex Oyster crown. The case is signed Rolex Geneva Swiss Patented, reference 4499 and numbered between the lugs. The movement is signed Rolex, Geneva, Swiss, with 17 jewels, adjusted to 2 positions with patented Super-balance. The silvered dial, with outer minute markings, has luminous Arabic numerals with centre-sweep seconds and fine blued steel hands. The dial is signed Rolex Oyster above the centre with Precision below.
