1930s early tonneau two-colour 14ct gold vintage Gruen Alpina watch

An early tonneau two-colour 14ct gold vintage Gruen Alpina watch. The heavy white gold case measures 24 x 39 mm (including lugs), with a yellow gold bezel. The case is signed Alpina Gruen and marked 14 carat gold. The fine Swiss movement is signed Gruen Watch Co. Precision, with 17 jewels. The dial has black Arabic numerals with a subsidiary seconds dial. The dial is signed Alpina Gruen above the centre, with Precision above the seconds dial. The Alpina Gruen and Rolex Prince watches were both made with similar movement parts, thus showing the superb quality of these watches!
