1930 9ct gold rectangular vintage Mappin watch
A rare, large 9ct gold rectangular vintage Mappin watch. The case measures 23 x 41 mm (excluding lugs) with decorative engraving to the sides. The case is hallmarked London 1930 and numbered to the back. The Swiss made movement has 15 jewels. The dial has ‘exploding’ black Arabic numerals with a subsidiary seconds dial and fine blued steel ‘Bregust’ style hands. The dial is signed Mappin above the centre.
