A fabulous, rare large rectangular vintage Longines watch from the late 1930s!
A 1937, large stainless steel rectangular vintage Longines watch. The case measures 25.5 x 42 mm (including lugs) with 20mm lugs. The case is marked Acier Inoxydable , Staybrite and numbered to the inside. The manual wind, 25.173 calibre, movement is signed Longines, with 17 jewels and numbered, dating the watch to 1937. The two-tone dial has black Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial, with fine blued steel ‘batons larges’ hands. The dial is signed Longines above the centre.
