1918 round silver vintage Longines ‘Officers’ watch (3562)
A very early silver round vintage Longines ‘Officers’ watch. The large silver case measures 35 mm in diameter, with hinged lugs. The case is signed AB (Arthur Baume, director of Longines U.K.), hallmarked London 1918 and numbered. The 13.34 calibre manual wind movement, with a hinged protective dust cover, is signed Longines with 15 jewels. The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals subsidiary seconds dial and fine blued steel hands. The dial is signed Longines above the centre.
