1920s vintage 2 colour gold Marc Favre wristwatch (3045)

A two colour 9ct gold tonneau shaped vintage wristwatch by Marc Favre, Bienne. The case measures 37.5 x 24mm (including lugs) and is hallmarked Glasgow 1929. The case has a yellow gold bezel with white gold to the edges and lugs. The Swiss movement has 15 jewels. The silvered dial has fancy Arabic numerals with a subsidiary seconds dial and Breguet style hands. The dial is signed Marc Favre, Bienne above the centre. This is a very stylish example of a wristwatch from the late 1920s!
